Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Shanghai as New York

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Shanghai as New York has a structure of an experimental and artistic documentary feature film with a very specific artistic concept. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a continuation of Little Red Riding Hood, a film that had its world premiere at the FID Marseille Festival in 2009. Intercultural environment, traumas stemming from bombing and numbered streets are the common denominators between Shangai and New York. Thus, a fairy tale becomes a real story of ordinary people plagued by destruction, a story of racism and spreading fascism, of ideologies and geopolitics. Literally, on a basic level, the film has a story, the characters are clearly determined, as well as their confrontations, dilemmas and choices.
